I have Rony to thank for this terrific picture. I don't know KC Concepcion personally -- Rony knows her. But she is so beautiful and from what I gather from Rony, she's beautiful on the inside too. We got to see her as Beauty in Atlantis Productions' Beauty and the Beast. She was great!

Based on this picture, you'd think Chloe was the celebrity! Take a look at that face!

Ode to Chris!

So Chloe is sitting on my lap as I download the pictures yesterday afternoon from our delish lunch with Carissa and Chris, Charmaine and Ron, and dear Joshua. Chloe is looking at the monitor and I'm telling her, "Ok, this is Tita Carissa and Uncle Chris" as I point to their cute portrait. She's nodding and it appears I'm getting through to her.

Chloe is also holding a big sticker of Barbie and I have no idea where it came from. She then says, "Mommy, I hide Uncle Chris" and proceeds to cover his face with the sticker! It was so funny!!! I was laughing and then I said, "Why? Are you scared of Uncle Chris?" Chloe looks at me, removes the sticker and says, "Chloe and Uncle Chris... friends."


She kept putting the sticker on and off... then would giggle and look at Chris' picture and say "Friends!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. It was too funny.

Then just this morning, she's standing leaning on the bed with her arms folded in front of her. I asked her what she's doing. The answer? "Mommy, I gaya-gaya Uncle Chris!" (meaning I'm copying Uncle Chris.) Oh my God, i couldnt stop laughing!!!! It appears she really remembers Chris even if she didn't really talk and pay much attention to him during the lunch! (I think she was a little scared -- he's very tall and Chloe is generally suspicious of very tall people --- hmmmm, that explains why she's careful with Uncle Rony -- hahaha!)

Mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chloe is bossing me around like a dona! What did you do?!? Hahahahahaha.

I think Chloe has the makings of an entertainer. Just last night, we put her in TIMEOUT for throwing paper clips all over the floor. First I tell her to go to the corner and she tells me, "No!" Not to be defeated so easily, I led her to the corner where she put on a screaming show. After a while of us staring at her, she stops, squints her eyes real tight to make tears fall out. I tell you, I wanted to burst out laughing... it looked like she was trying to put on the tears to get us to soften up! My gosh, she's starting young...

Plus last night, she attempted to give me the run-around. First, she asks if she can watch "Monsters" (the cartoon from Pixar). I tell her nope, it too late for that (it was 11pm). Then she asks if she can watch Dora -- and I say yes, because truthfully, it lasts all of 15 minutes. So she tells me, "Dora only, Mommy?" And I say "Yes, Dora only." She answers, "Monsters only?" And I'm like ye... wait she said Monsters! Then I say, "Chloe, Dora only!" Then she says, "Monsters also?" She's trying to trick me! Silly child!

We were woken up this morning to yells of "Wake up! Stand up!" from Chloe. I could hardly believe it.

Oh and yeah, she calls the "Octopus" bath toy we bought her "Octoban". And even insists that we're wrong about "Octopus".

This kid is getting a little too smart.
